Gino D'Acampo is said to have quit Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip due to 'demands' the TV chef made about the filming schedule for the popular show.
On Sunday evening, TV chef and This Morning star Gino took to Instagram completely out of the blue, to drop the bombshell that he'd walked away from the p[rogramme, that has been a big ratings winner for ITV since its launch in 2018. Road Trip sees Gino, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix travel to different locations across the world, with the show combining cooking with their adventures, as millions tuned into every episode.
But, just weeks after First Dates star Fred said he was looking forward to doing another series, Gino announced to his social media followers that he wouldn't be doing the show anymore, telling them the reason was: "Because contracts start to become very complicated and very stressful, I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I would rather the friendship than arguments with the contract."

Initially, it was speculated that Gino's Road Trip extras down to money, but insiders claimed that's not the case and the catalyst was Gino wanting alterations to the filming schedule.
Claiming that Gino, Gordion and Fred were all getting the same pay cheque, the source told The Sun: ""Gino, who loves a party, wanted all sorts of caveats put into his contract around working hours so that he could effectively stay up late and have a bit of a lie-in before filming. He also didn't want to work more than six months of the year which, given the tight schedules they all have, was never going to be practical."
The insider added that Gordon and Fred were "quite frustrated" leading to tension between the three stars, but that Gino's decision to walk away still came as massive surprise to everyone
