Gino D'Acampo 'kissed famous footballer's wife on the lips in front of shocked husband'

Gino D’Acampo reportedly kissed a famous international footballer’s wife on the lips in front of her husband at a charity event in 2012.

The Italian TV chef, 48, is facing dozens of accusations of sexually inappropriate and “distressing” behaviour on TV sets over the past 12 years, which he denies.

A witness has made fresh allegations about D’Acampo, claiming he “grabbed” a stunned WAG’s face and kissed her without warning in front of dozens of guests at a black-tie event at Stoke City Football Club.

The This Morning star then went on the stage and said he pulled the stunt “because I f***ing can,” before joking that the husband “wants to f***ing kill me now”, a source told MailOnline.

The witness claimed the former footballer’s wife looked “shocked” as the audience reacted with a mix of gasps and laughter during the “deeply uncomfortable” moment.

“As Gino was introduced to the stage, he walked through the audience directly to the table where the footballer and his wife were seated. He then very suddenly grabbed her by the face, and kissed her on the lips,” they said.

D’Acampo then allegedly said onstage, “You know why I did that, ladies and gentlemen? Because I f**king can” and added to the footballer: “You want to f**king kill me right now, don't you?”

The witness said: “She appeared visibly shocked, and her husband looked really stunned too and not exactly pleased. But it was so public I think they both felt they had no choice but to let it go.”

A second witness said they felt “deeply uncomfortable” seeing the alleged incident and “could only imagine” how the footballer’s wife must have felt.

They were struck by how easily the audience “seemed to dismiss or even celebrate this blatant act of arrogance and entitlement”.

D’Acampo was rising in fame at the time of the alleged stunt, often shocking viewers with his outlandish behaviour on shows like ITV’s Celebrity Juice.

D’Acampo’s spokesperson did not deny that he had kissed the women but shut down “ludicrous” suggestions that the action wasn’t consensual.

They told The Standard: “The allegation that Mr D’Acampo would ‘forcefully’ kiss someone in a non-consensual way is considered by Mr D’Acampo as ‘ludicrous’ and is strongly denied.”

D’Acampo’s alleged misconduct on various TV shows was described as “horrendous” in an ITV News investigation last week.

He has "firmly denied" the allegations and described them as "deeply upsetting".

D’Acampo reportedly told a female colleague he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter” in one alleged incident in 2011.

Another woman alleged "aggressive" behaviour by D’Acampo on a location shoot, claiming he opened the door in his boxers and made reference to his genitalia.

He also allegedly made “disgusting” sexual comments about whether he would sleep with his ITV co-star Holly Willoughby or her close friend, presenter Fearne Cotton.

D’Acampo said of the allegations: "I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied.

“I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me."
