Gimme him: One player the Titans would steal from Ravens

It’s officially time to put last week’s demoralizing loss to the Indianapolis Colts behind us and shift our focus to the Tennessee Titans’ Week 6 battle against another hated rival, the Baltimore Ravens.

Tennessee is set to play its second international game in the last five years when it faces the Ravens in London, England.

This is the Titans’ final game before they go on their bye week. A win will go a long way toward boosting team morale and expectations for the rest of the 2023 season.

The last thing Tennessee wants to be is 2-4 heading into their break, which in turn will force the team to claw its way out of a hole just to get back to having a chance at being a playoff contender over the second half.

To avoid that, the Titans will have to beat one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league, and that alone makes this week’s “gimme him” article an obvious choice.

You could make a strong argument that the Ravens quarterback is having one of the best seasons of his impressive career.

Jackson has always been lethal with his legs, but he’s now becoming a more complete quarterback who is capable of shredding an opposing defense with his arm, too.

Unfortunately for him, his group of pass-catchers are severely letting him down at the moment.

Last week alone, Jackson finished with an elite passing grade of 93.4, per Pro Football Focus. Yet, it only resulted in 10 points on the scoreboard, largely because his receivers ended up dropping a whopping seven passes.

In total, Jackson has an elite overall grade of 89.3 after he’s completed 69.9 percent of his passes for 1,030 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The former unanimous MVP has also added 265 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

This one is the definition of a no-brainer when it comes to stealing one player. Jackson is every bit of an elite playmaker at the most important position, and as long as you have him under center, you’re always going to have a chance to compete for a championship.
