Gimme Him: One player Giants would steal from Ravens

The New York Giants (2-11) will host the Baltimore Ravens (8-5) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon in a Week 15 battle.

That, of course, provides those of us here at Giants Wire the opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Ravens’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades for Big Blue for the second time this season.

For the first time this season, the decision was a simple one but that’s not to say Baltimore doesn’t have an abundance of talent.

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, safety Kyle Hamilton, edge rusher Kyle Van Noy, running back Derrick Henry, tight end Mark Andrews, center Tyler Linderbaum, and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley are just a small handful of players who dramatically improve the Giants’ roster.

But let’s not kid ourselves… We all know where this is going.

Lamar Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, is arguably the best quarterback in football. He very well could be en route to a third MVP Award this season and at just 27 years old, would solidify the Giants’ QB position for many years to come.

Jackson would fit well into Brian Daboll’s system, which was designed around Daniel Jones, and the presence of wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. would create a unique triple-threat.

Obviously, adding Jackson wouldn’t fix the plethora of remaining issues and a talent injection would still be needed, but it would be an excellent first step.

What are your thoughts, Giants fans? Would you pick Lamar Jackson or would you steal an entirely different player from the Baltimore Ravens?
