Drew Lock will be under center for the New York Giants when they host the New Orleans Saints this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Head coach Brian Daboll made the announcement during his press conference on Wednesday. He said Lock would take all of the first team snaps in preparation for Sunday.

Tommy DeVito, who started two weeks ago against Tampa Bay, missed last week’s game with a forearm injury. Daboll said he would be either the team’s second or third quarterback this week depending on his health.
Lock started on Thanksgiving Day in Dallas, completing 21 of 32 passes for 178 yards with no touchdowns and an interception which was returned for a touchdown. He also lost a fumble, which led to another touchdown.
Lock rushed four times for 57 yards and a score and was sacked six times in the game.
DeVito had a similar outing in the Giants’ 30-7 loss in Week 12 at home against the Buccaneers, throwing for 189 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers for an 83.9 QB rating. He rushed for 32 yards on seven attempts and was sacked four times.
With offensive tackles Jermaine Eluemunor and Evan Neal also injured, Lock may have to play behind a line that bookends Chris Hubbard and Joshua Ezeudu.
