The New York Giants (5-11) host the Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) at MetLife Stadium this Sunday afternoon to close out the 2023 regular season.
The Giants are done, with no role to play other than spoiler, while the Eagles need to win if they have any designs on taking the NFC title for the second straight season.
This promises to be a competitive game. The Giants are tired of being pushed around in this series and have dropped 13 of the last 15, including the last five. But in their meeting just two weeks ago, the Giants surged back and almost took the Eagles to overtime, giving them hope that they can finally beat them.
The Eagles have been faltering, losers of four of their last five, and now could find themselves a wild card team come next week.
Here are three prop bets for you to consider in this game, per BetMGM.
Saquon Barkley: First TD (+500), Anytime TD (-140), OVER 59.5 rushing yards (-120)
It’s the last week of the season, so why not go for broke? Saquon Barkley has had a disappointing season overall (thanks to another ankle injury) and could not follow up on his Pro Bowl season of 2022.
He could possibly be on the unrestricted free agent market come March if the Giants decide to let that happen, so he will try to make the most of this final game.
The Eagles have been getting shredded on the ground the past six games to the tune of 150 yards per game. You have to take advantage here.
Jalin Hyatt OVER 19.5 receiving yards (-115)
The Giants want to get Jalin Hyatt the ball as it’s the final game of the season. With Tyrod Taylor under center, they feel they can throw a little deeper, so enter Hyatt.
The opportunities have not been there for the rookie but last week he was targeted four times for 25 yards. The reality is, he can nail this prop with one catch — if they can finally connect.
Tyrod Taylor OVER 201.5 passing yards (-115)
This could be Tyrod Taylor’s last start as an NFL quarterback and he’s going give it everything he’s got.
With all of his receivers — and Saquon Barkley — healthy and ready to go, he should be able to follow up last week’s 319-yard performance with another fine outing.
