The New York Giants have some uncertainty at the most important position heading into Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. During the Giants’ loss to the Eagles on Monday, Tommy DeVito was benched at halftime and replaced by veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
Taylor finished the game with 133 yards, one touchdown and an interception, while DeVito had just 55 yards on 9-of-16 passing. Taylor nearly led a miraculous comeback after the Giants fell behind 20-3 in the first half, pulling them all the way to within eight points.
Ultimately, Taylor’s Hail Mary was intercepted and the Giants lost, 33-25.
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters on Tuesday that the Giants don’t know who will start at quarterback against the Rams, and that the coaching staff will evaluate the position.

No matter who the Giants start under center, the Rams will be favored to win. They’re 6.5-point favorites right now despite being on the road, and they have the added benefit of a mini-bye following their win over the Saints last Thursday night.
