The New York Giants made several roster moves ahead of their Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, including the addition of linebacker Tomon Fox to their 53-man roster.
Fox was waived last Saturday, re-signed to the practice squad on Tuesday, and then added to the active roster on Wednesday. He had no elevations remaining, so the Giants could only use him by returning him to the main roster.
In five games this season, Fox has recorded seven tackles (four solo, one for a loss), two QB hits, and one sack.
In a corresponding roster move, the Giants placed defensive tackle Armon Watts on injured reserve (IR) with a shoulder issue. He is likely done for the season.
Finally, the Giants elevated offensive tackle Joshua Miles and cornerback Greg Stroman from their practice squad.
For both Miles and Stroman, this is their first standard elevation. They each have two remaining.
