Tale of the tape

At this year’s NFL combine, Owens measured in at 6-foot tall and 195 pounds. He recorded a vertical jump of 37.5 inches and a broad jump of 10 feet, five inches.

At Houston’s pro day, Owens ran the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds and his 20-yard shuttle time of 4.08 seconds and three-cone drill time of 6.75 seconds would have been among the best had he participated in them at the Combine.

Why the Giants want him

Depth and character. At Houston, Owens was a team leader and a captain. He was a high performer and as stated, he has excellent athletic ability to play in packages and on special teams.
