The New York Giants were hoping to make a statement at home today against the 11-1 Eagles but things have quickly gone the opposite way for them and it’s looking like they’re going to suffer a pretty ugly loss to their NFC East rivals.
The Eagles, who own the best record in the NFL, jumped out to a 21-0 at MetLife Stadium. While Philadelphia has looked great, everything has been pretty bad so far for the Giants.
If you needed any proof of that then just look at what happened on a punt attempt by New York’s Jamie Gillan. This all went so wrong for him:

How the heck did he drop that ball?
That was actually ruled an illegal kick and Gillian got a 10-yard penalty on the play. The Eagles then scored a 33-yard TD on the very next play.
