After keeping two kickers through the first eight games of the 2023 campaign — one on the practice squad and one on the active roster — the Tennessee Titans are set to be down one.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the New York Giants have signed kicker Cade York off the Titans’ practice squad to their active roster. He joins fellow former Titan Randy Bullock, who was inked to the Giants’ practice squad on Thursday.
The Giants’ addition of kickers comes in the wake of a knee injury to Graham Gano, who will miss the rest of the 2023 season after surgery.

After struggling during the preseason and getting cut by the Cleveland Browns, the team that took him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft, the Titans inked York as an emergency kicker behind Nick Folk.
However, York was never needed, as the veteran has been sensational over eight games.
York’s career got off to a promising start after he made his first eight attempts in 2022, but it was all downhill from there, with York converting just 16-of-24 the rest of the way.
Now, he’ll look to revive his career in New York, but he may have to beat out another former Titan for the job before he gets the chance.
