The New York Giants took down the Washington Commanders, 14-7, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, snapping a four-game losing streak.
With a record of 2-5, the Giants are now, remarkably, just 1.5 games out of the wildcard spot with plenty of games left to play this season. But they still have a long climb back before they can even begin thinking about that.
Still, a win is a win and precious few teams needed that more than the Giants.
