The New York Giants dominated the Indianapolis Colts, 38-10, in Week 17 and secured their spot in the NFC Playoffs. They also guaranteed themselves an above .500 finish.
The Giants, who have nothing left to play for, will close out the season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
As we enter Week 18, here’s a look at where the Giants place in a multitude of power rankings.

Among the unsung heroes for the NFC’s locked-in No. 6 seed are WRs Richie James and Isaiah Hodgins, who share club lead with four TD grabs apiece.

The Giants crushed the Colts (but so does everyone in the league). Daniel Jones is making quite a case for himself to be the quarterback of not only present but also the future.
Mark Lane, Touchdown Wire: 12 (+2)
Brian Daboll completed the turnaround and at least have the Giants in Ben McAdoo territory, as that was the last rookie coach to lead New York to the playoffs. Don’t imagine that this team will be going to South Beach ahead of the wild-card round though.

The New York Giants punched their ticket to the playoffs in emphatic fashion Sunday, beating the hapless Colts 38-10 in a game that was never particularly close. New York nearly doubled the first downs Indianapolis could manage, and they dismantled an underachieving Colts offensive line.
Earlier this week, reports claimed that New York is looking to extend both Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. Jones was outstanding against Indianapolis, using his feet as arguably the Giants’ best offensive weapon.
Another year of Brian Daboll, Mike Kafka, and Wink Martindale could mean trouble for the NFC East if Joe Schoen can continue to build a defensive backfield that can support Martindale’s aggressive nature.

The Giants have gotten a nice unique breakthrough season from Daniel Jones at quarterback and he keeps making their limited passing game weapons look good playing off the run. The defense also had a much needed get-well game vs. the Colts that clinched a playoff berth.

The Giants will get either the Vikings or 49ers in the wild-card round and that won’t be easy. Even if they’re one-and-done, it’s a great season. They have to feel good about Brian Daboll. And after so many poor seasons since Eli Manning won his second Super Bowl, it’s good to be back in the playoffs.
