Lost in the lead-up to free agency were several front office changes made by the New York Giants.
The team has announced the hiring of Celeste Bell, who will serve as their senior vice president of human resources and diversity, equity and inclusion. The newly created role is designed to develop and implement policies and procedures that positively impact all employees.
Before being hired by the Giants, Bell spent 10 years working with Major League Baseball and several more working with Deutsch NY.
Additionally, Steve Hamrahi has been promoted from vice president of finance to senior vice president of finance. Rich Hernandez was also promoted, moving from vice president and assistant general counsel to senior vice president and assistant general counsel.
Nilay Shah, a name familiar to Giants fans, has been promoted from vice president of digital marketing to senior vice president of digital marketing and brand strategy. He has been with the Giants since 2007.
Finally, Jessica Slenker has been promoted from vice president of partnership strategy and activation to senior vice president of corporate partnerships.
