New York Giants first-round draft pick Kayvon Thibodeaux is among the favorites to win the 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, per the Tipico Sportsbook app.
Thibodeaux, an edge rusher selected fifth overall out of Oregon by the Giants, is the co-favorite to win the honor along with Detroit defensive end Aidan Hutchinson at +450.
Hutchinson was selected second overall by the Lions out of Michigan. The draft’s top player — Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher Travon Walker, a former Georgia Bulldog — is third at +600.
Linebacker Devin Lloyd of Utah, also selected in the first round by Jacksonville, is next at +750 along with another former Georgia star, Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker (+750).
