Giants interview Adam Henry for wide receivers coach position

The New York Giants continue to plug away at compiling their coaching staff, and that includes a look at a familiar name: Adam Henry.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that the Giants met with Henry on Tuesday for their vacant wide receivers coach position.

As Garafolo notes, Henry spent two seasons with the Giants from 2016 through 2017, coaching the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard.

In addition to his time with the Giants, Henry has also had stints with the Oakland Raiders (2007-2011), San Francisco 49ers (2015), Cleveland Browns (2018-2019) and Dallas Cowboys (2020-2021). He also made a stop with LSU from 2012 through 2014.

Henry broke into the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of McNeese State, where he also spent 10 years as a coach and coordinator. He signed with the New Orleans Saints following the 1994 NFL draft and spent three seasons with the team.

Given Henry’s familiarity with the Giants organization and some of the remaining players, he’d make for a nice fit.
