The New York Giants have been one of the worst-performing teams in the NFL over the past 10 years and, in fact, have been the worst team in the NFC over that period.
Remarkably, Giants fans have not been crying in their proverbial beers over the team’s demise. In a recent poll of which NFL fan bases are the “drunkest,” the Giants’ faithful have been among the most sober.
As part of our How America Drinks™ series, we analyzed over 28,000 anonymous BAC test results to determine which fanbase drank the most during the 2023-24 NFL season.
New York Giants fans rank #28 with an average gameday BAC of .058%.

“Given the Giants’ play the last decade I’m going to ask for a new study,” License Plate Guy told the New York Post.
The Tennessee Titans were rated the ‘drunkest’ while the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs’ fan base was rated the most sober.
The New York Jets, the Giants’ co-tenants at MetLife Stadium, were not assigned a score in the poll due to “insufficient data.”
The four teams involved in the NFC and AFC championship games — the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and Chiefs — all scored low in the poll, giving way to the theory that winning breeds sobriety.
Well, except in the Giants’ case.
