Giants’ Darius Slayton says Daniel Jones throws a better ball than Eli Manning

Who throws a better ball? Retired New York Giants legend Eli Manning or current quarterback Daniel Jones?

That was a question recently posed to Darius Slayton when he appeared on the popular game show, Hot Ones Truth or Dab presented by First We Feast.

Slayton appeared alongside Giants teammate Andrew Thomas and both were presented with tough questions. Their choices were to answer or to take a bite of an extremely spicy chicken wing.

When asked about Manning and Jones, Slayton opted to answer instead of having his tongue scorched.

“I gotta go with my guy Daniel Jones,” Slayton said somewhat reluctantly. “He throws a great ball. I mean, they both throw a great ball but, obviously, I’ve had DJ my whole career so I’ll go with him.”

Jones and Slayton were draftmates in 2019 — Jones going to the Giants at No. 6 overall and Slayton to Big Blue in Round 5.

Later during the show, Slayton was asked which media outlet or pundit was his least favorite and most unfair toward the Giants. After some deliberation, the wide receiver decided not to answer the question and settled for a few bites of a spicy wing. He paid the price for that decision.

Immediately after that, Thomas was asked which NFC East edge rusher had the weakest moves. Like Slayton before him, Thomas deliberated but opted to pass on providing an answer.

The entire episode, which is recommended for Giants fans, can be viewed on the First We Feast YoutTube channel.
