New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has his team at 6-1 and following a 300-plus yard, two-touchdown performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7, has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Jones completed 19 of 30 passes (six drops) for 202 yards and one touchdown, and rushed the ball 11 times for an additional 107 yards and one touchdown.
The performance was historic as Jones became the only Giants player in history to pass for 200-plus yards and rush for 100-plus yards in the same game.

Jones’ 11 rushing attempts and 107 rushing yards were career highs. And his rushing touchdown gave him three on the season, which is also a career-high.
For the Giants, this is their third Player of the Week honor this season. Saquon Barkley was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 1, and Graham Gano was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 2.
For Jones, this is the third time he’s been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in his career.
