Giants’ Daniel Jones back working out at Cressey Sports Performance

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones may be without a contract at the moment, but that’s not slowing him down one bit.

Jones was back at it this week, returning to Cressey Sports Performance for the second consecutive offseason. He got to work preparing his body for the upcoming season with a variety of exercises designed to increase strength and explosiveness.

Because the Giants have a returning head coach, they are not permitted to begin their offseason workout program until April 17. Accordingly, Jones headed up to Massachusetts to get a headstart on things.

The Giants and Jones are also currently engaged in “bumpy” negotiations with the quarterback allegedly seeking upwards of $45 million annually. However, those reports have not been solidly confirmed (just a lot of “believes” and “maybes”).

Jones is coming off his best season to date where he put up nearly 4,000 total yards and 22 combined touchdowns while leading the Giants to their first playoff win since Super Bowl XLVI.

Expectations remain that Jones and the Giants will come to an agreement on a long-term deal.
