The Baltimore Ravens have stacked up plenty of depth over the course of the 2022 offseason. With how much they’ve been able to accumulate, the team has had to part with talented players as they begin to trim their roster down to 53-players.
Baltimore had to get their roster down to 80 players by Tuesday, August 23rd at 4pm EST, and two of the players they moved on from were wide receivers Jaylon Moore and Bailey Gaither. On Wednesday, the New York Giants announced that they claimed both players off of waivers from the Ravens, effectively meaning that both found a new NFL home.
Giants claimed both WR Jaylon Moore and WR Bailey Gaither, who were cut by the Ravens yesterday. The third WR the Ravens waived, Slade Bolden, reverted to I.R. He said on his Twitter account that he will have hernia surgery.

Moore signed with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent out of UT-Martin He spent 2020 and 2021 on the team’s practice squad, and was fighting for a spot on the team’s 2022 roster.
Gaither signed with the Ravens at the end of July, and was also trying to win a spot in the team’s wide receiver room. He spent time with the Green Bay Packers and in the USFL before his time with Baltimore.
