The New York Giants have been making loads of personnel moves this year and many felt they would likely continue to be active during the waiver period which followed Tuesday’s roster cuts.
Instead, they were quiet. That is likely due to them having a low position — 26th — in the waiver process.
As of the waiver deadline of noon on Wednesday, the Giants had not been successful in claiming any available players on the wave wire. Nor did any other of the 31 NFL teams claim any of the players that they cut on Tuesday.
In fact, none of the four NFC East teams were awarded a player off the waiver wire.

Players who cleared waivers are now eligible to be signed to practice squads or active rosters at this point. The practice squad can hold up to 16 players and that window opened at noon on Wednesday.
