A GIANT Lego replica of the Forth Bridge is set to go on display in Scotland for the first time.
The 26ft model of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is made from 100,000 bricks and will go on display in Edinburgh next month.
Made by a team of four builders from the Lego UK Railway group, it features two working replica train tracks.
The Lego bridge will be displayed at the annual Edinbrick charity model show on May 10 and 11.
It first went on display in Manchester at the Bricktastic festival, but this is the first time it will visit Scotland.
Doug Adamson, lead organiser of Edinbrick, said: "When we heard that LUKR were looking to return to Edinbrick after last year we knew we would need more space for displays.
"What could be more fitting than seeing the biggest Lego Forth Bridge ever built in the city that you can see the real bridge from?"
Built in the 1880s, the Forth Bridge transports trains on the Aberdeen to Edinburgh route across the Firth of Forth.
Sitting alongside the newer Forth Road Bridge and Queesnferry Crossing, it is one of the most iconic structures in Scotland, having been voted the country's greatest man-made wonder in 2016.
