A huge ice rink and funfair has opened for the festive season at The Trafford Centre.
Tinseltown is back for a second year and bigger than ever this Christmas. With the ice rink, fairground rides and the Big Top playing host to Gandeys Snowstorm ice show, it has once again transformed the space outside The Great Hall into a 'magical haven full of festive fun'.
The big wheel is also back, letting visitors see all the glittering lights and sights from a staggering 55 metres high. And there are loads of tasty treats on offer, including hot chocolate and mulled wine from the centre’s festive bar complete with towering Christmas tree.

The fair features rides for kids of all ages, from Teacups and Flying Elephants to the Waveswinger and white-knuckle Rock Rage.
And anyone paying fairground entry will be able to watch a number of festive films showing on the big screens on Saturday afternoons, including Frozen and How the Grinch stole Christmas. Elsewhere at The Trafford Centre, the new Paddington Bear grotto has also opened inside a huge unit opposite Boots.

"Introducing the new Christmas with Paddington Grotto and welcoming back our iconic Skate at Tinseltown in association with Hits Radio, Christmas at Trafford Centre has never been so exciting. Tinseltown will be the talk of the town as we provide memorable experiences for the whole family.”
As well as the set attractions, there's a full programme of live music, from traditional carols to acoustic Christmas covers.
The ice rink and fair are open now, while Gandeys Snowstorm 2 will open on November 25. All attractions will be open until January 2, except for the grotto which finishes on Christmas Eve.

- Saturday, November 26, 12pm: Frozen
- Saturday, December 3, 12pm: How the Grinch stole Christmas
- Saturday, December 10, 12pm: Arthur Christmas
- Saturday, December 17, 12pm: Home Alone
Fair entry is from £2.50, with ride tickets on a token basis. Tickets for Snowstorm 2 start from £11.99 and skating from £10 off peak, which includes entry to the funfair after your skate session.
