Giannis Antetokounmpo's Left Achilles Tendon Intact, Return Depends On Recovery.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's New Documentary Film

Giannis Antetokounmpo's left Achilles tendon remains fully intact, according to sources. The Milwaukee Bucks star's return to play hinges on the recovery of his left calf strain sustained during Tuesday night's game against the Boston Celtics.

Antetokounmpo left the game in the third quarter after collapsing on the court while clutching his left leg. His teammates assisted him off the court for further evaluation.

The initial diagnosis by the Bucks indicated a strain to Antetokounmpo's left soleus muscle, located in the back part of the calf. Following the game, Bucks coach Doc Rivers mentioned that Antetokounmpo was undergoing an MRI on his calf and would also have his Achilles tendon assessed.

Prior to the injury, the Bucks had been on a four-game losing streak, their longest since December 2022. Despite the recent setbacks, the Bucks currently hold a one-game lead over the New York Knicks for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Antetokounmpo's health and recovery timeline will be closely monitored by the team as they aim to secure their playoff positioning and make a strong postseason push.
