Ghost of Tsushima has an expansive world inspired by Japan's historical culture and features direct swordplay and stealthy assassinations.

Players have a variety of options in regards to armor and you can also find some ranged weapons that make taking out enemies a little bit easier. In this article, we'll help you find one of these weapons, the Blowgun.

This guide also helps players understand what kind of darts they can use with this particular ranged weapon to make the best of it.

How To Get the Blowgun

In order to get the Blowgun in Ghost of Tsushima, players need to make a bit of progress into the main storyline.

You can get this ranged weapon during the quest "Ghosts from the Past" as Yuriko will give you one as part of his visit to the Sakai family estate, according to Game Pressure.

What Darts Can You Use?

After you get the Blowgun, you need to learn what kinds of darts you can use and what benefits they have. The first type that you have access to is Position Darts. These are available immediately after you get the ranged weapon.

This particular dart type poisons enemies they hit and will soon start spitting out blood and die in agony. Using Poison Darts to kill enemies can also trigger a terror debuff that will scare nearby enemies.

The second type you can get is Hallucination Darts after meeting up with Yuriko again during the side quest The Proud Do Not Endure. This particular dart type will turn enemies against each other. This gives you more opportunities in the fight, Game Rant said.

How To Get More Darts

Using your Blowgun extensively can result in you quickly losing darts that you may need in later missions.

In order to get more, you need to gather purple or orange flowers. This will immediately resupply your darts. Purple flowers are for Poison Darts and orange flowers are for Hallucination Darts.

Unfortunately, you cannot find either type of darts at merchants or even as loot from enemies. This makes stockpiling a lot relatively difficult and forces players to be conservative with their ammo.

Another Tip

The Blowgun is a very useful ranged weapon in Ghost of Tsushima that can still be used against armored foes. This is by using Hallucination Darts to make them fight against their own allies to whittle down their numbers, according to Screen Rant.
