Gherkin named as London’s most Instagrammable skyscraper

The Gherkin is the most popular London office building on Instagram, according to research.

Analysis by commercial property experts savoystewart.co.uk found the building, officially known as 30 St Mary Axe, was mentioned in 80,945 hashtags.

It towered over its rivals with the next most favoured skyscraper Tower 42, or the Natwest Tower, coming in with 60,000 fewer tags.

Third place in the top 10 list was occupied by One Canada Square in Canary Wharf with 10,455 hashtags.

The tallest tower in the City, 22 Bishopsgate, was mentioned 2,019 times.
