Gheorghe Hagi has urged son Ianis to kick on from his Old Firm heroics after watching him dump Celtic at Ibrox.
The former Real Madrid and Barcelona star was in Glasgow to watch his son open the scoring as Rangers upset the form book to hammer the Hoops in a 3-0 romp.
And the man known as 'The King' in his Romanian homeland admitted he was delighted at his boy's display, but told him not to rest on his laurels.
He said: "He had a very good match which had a lot to do with the way he started the game with a goal.

"He even had a cold for a few days leading up to the match so it's good he recovered. It's important that he scored, that he's fit and that he's helping Rangers win and not just win, but win by a big margin. He played very well for 90 minutes.
"He told me to come to the Rangers games more often! It depends on how busy I am. He's happy at Rangers and really wants to help them. But as I told him, it was just one match. There are plenty more games this season and he must maintain that standard."
