Jackbox Games announced that the latest addition to the franchise is going to be a bit spicy. Jackbox Naughty Pack is set to be the first M-rated title of the series and is a good option for those looking for some good dirty fun. This intimate pack comes with three games and launches sometime later this year.
According to the studio, this upcoming pack is a result of looking through its annual customer feedback. There were comments that said they wanted a pack that had "After Dark" games and that an "adult content" very would be a good addition. More details about this pack are to be revealed this summer.
The Jackbox Party Pack is currently available for the PC on Steam. It's a game from the same team that released You Don't Known Jack. This pack offers five party games in one which are:
- You Don't Know Jack 2015 (1 to 4 players)
- This comedy trivia sensation comes with hundreds of new questions.
- Fibbage XL (2 to 8 players)
- This hilarious bluffing game has more than 50% more questions added to the original hit game Fibbage.
- Drawful (3 to 8 players)
- The bizarre drawing game has players draw on their phone or tablet.
- Requires very little or no real skill.
- Word Spud (2 to 8 players)
- This is a racy-as-you-want-to-be fill-in-the-blank word game.
- Lie Swatter (1-100 players)
- Enjoy this wacky-fact-filled game.
These games have players use their phones, tablets, or even computers as controllers. That means there's won't be a big mess of controllers. It makes this the perfect easy-in entertainment piece for the next game night or party. Once a game is started from the in-pack menu, players simply need to connect to the "jackbox.tv" web address on their device and then enter the on-screen room code to enter the game.
Playing Remotely
While the games in the pack are best played in person, it's also possible to do it remotely. Players need to use any web-enabled device like a smartphone or tablet and then join the game. When playing with remote players, the group can use a video conferencing tool that includes Zoom, Steam Broadcast, Google Hangouts, and Discord, to name a few. Just share the screen while on a call and make sure to look for prompts to share audio. Visit the Remote Play page to learn more about this feature.
