Get paid £144 to upgrade to Pixel 7 with incredible deal that Google can't match

Smartphone contracts seem to be never-ending when it comes to the release of a latest tech model, as UK retailers battle it out to offer the best discounts and freebies on the new orders. This happened during the recent roll-out of the 2023 Google Pixel Fold, networks like O2 offered a free Pixel Watch with the handset, now all Pixel 7 shoppers can get paid-back for buying the device.

The deal offerred by Mobiles.co.uk beats Google at it's own price, at £22 cheaper than the Google itself the deal also includes 250GB of inclusive data, a perk which is not offered to Google Store shoppers. So how does it work?

The offer is available to those who buy the 128GB model on Vodafone's network through Mobiles.co.uk, where all shoppers will get a £50 Currys voucher. Once bought, shoppers will then get £144 back into their bank account, as customers are essentailly being paid for buying the Pixel 7 phone.

Those who buy the Pixel 7 deal don't have to pay a penny upfront as Vodafone has also slashed it's initial £55 upfront fee. The 24-month plan costs £30 a month and includes 250GB of data, but is brought down to £24 a month once the £144 cashback kicks in.

Not only is this deal on our radar for including some money-saving perks (thanks to the £50 shopping voucher) but it's the cheapest currently offered by any provider. After comparing it to fellow Google Pixel 7 retailers, those who choose the Mobiles.co.uk deal will get the biggest saving.

The total price of the Google Pixel 7 handset with 250GB of data at Mobiles.co.uk is £577 across the full two years, which is not only £22 cheaper than the handset-only price at Google, but more than £400 cheaper than buying the handset and data deal at Vodafone.

Vodafone's Google Pixel 7 handset and data deal costs £43 and £29 upfront for the phone and 150GB of data a month (which is the closest amount we could find to 250GB apart from a more expensive Unlimited plan). Across the two year plan this comes to a total of £1,061, £484 more expensive than Mobiles.co.uk deal.

£27 a month with an upfront £29 deal. This breaks down as a 36-month handset cost and 24-month airtime plan. At Vodafone the handset has an initial £29 upfront and then £16 a month for 36-months, followed by 8GB of data (on a 24-month plan) for £11 a month.

The Pixel 7 is not the latest handset as part of Google's smartphones, it falls behind the newly released Google Pixel Fold. Not included in this deal the Fold has made headlines over recent weeks for being comparible to Samsung's original Galaxy Z Fold 4 device, and £100 more expensive at £1,749.

Also released in 2023, Google launched a budget-friendly model of the Pixel 7, with its May release of the Google Pixel 7a. The £499 model looks similar in design but users get the added money-saving with its smaller storage capacity and cheaper materials.

Shoppers interested in the newer, more afforable, the Pixel 7a can also make the most of Mobiles.co.uk £18 a month deal on the handset. The total £449 cost over the two year plan is the same price as Google's handset-only deal on the model, but includes 100GB at no extra cost.
