Manchester United fans have once again called for the Glazers to sell the club after their stance on keeping Cristiano Ronaldo emerged.
The Manchester Evening News understands that co-chairman Joel Glazer - who sanctions every transfer - does not want to sell the superstar. Although publicly saying he wanted to keep Ronaldo, Erik ten Hag is privately open to offloading the striker.
The Portugal captain, who netted 24 times in his homecoming campaign last season, has become unsettled at the club for several reasons, one of which is their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

However, it seems a large proportion of United fans have run out of patience with the absent owners. Some on Twitter vented their anger at them for pushing against Ronaldo's exit.
Lots reiterated their #GlazersOut stance ahead of a planned no-show at United’s home game with Liverpool on Monday.

@DevildeatilsMU: We need new owners! #GlazersOut
@433FutbolFan: The Glazers who probably don't know what an 'offside' is, are making decisions to keep Ronaldo. We all know why. Because he sells more shirts for them than any player and they need him so that they can use his image and sell products.
@kazoo_ManUtd: I hope Glazers go away soon.
