'Get it done' - Manchester United fans send transfer message amid Vitinha offer reports

A whole host of Manchester United supporters have begged the club to sign Porto midfielder Vitinha.

The 22-year-old lifted the Portuguese title this season after contributing four goals and five assists. His performances have earned the interests of United and Arsenal.

The player reportedly has a £34m release clause in his contract. But recently, as per Metro, Porto rejected an offer from an unnamed club who offered less than the aforementioned amount.

Pinto da Costa, Porto’s president, explained on Wednesday: “There was a concrete offer, of considerable value, for Vitinha that we did not accept.

“And we referred them to the release clause, which is the only way to take our player.” A number of United fans have been calling for the club to trigger his release clause and bring him to Old Trafford.

Some on Twitter said that Erik ten Hag should shift focus from chasing Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong to recruiting the much sought-after Vitinha.

@JohnboscoAlaeto: Vitinha is one of the best midfielders in the world Man United should go and bring him in

@Zizoureem: This guy is quality, similar to Pedri and is a steal at £34m. Manchester United don't ignore him....get it done!

@jamesdasilva_: Honestly if De Jong really don’t wanna come let’s just crack on with Vitinha.
