Celtic were held to a goalless draw at Tannadice today (Sunday) against a steadfast Dundee United, after which fans and pundits alike have criticised one Celtic player in particular.
Brought off the bench as a second-half substitute, Luis Palma struggled to affect the game in any significant way on an afternoon when Brendan Rodgers' matchday squad was gutted by illness and injury.
Introduced for Yang with over half an hour remaining (including injury time), the Honduran flattered to deceive for the most part as he appeared to underline why he's dropped out of the manager's plans in more recent weeks.
Speaking to the BBC, former Celtic player and pundit Pat Bonner said: I have always wondered why Palma can’t play on the right-hand side, because he can’t play with his left foot.
"He always comes on the inside. When Maeda was still on the pitch, at that point, he could still play on the left and the right-hand side.
"I have said so many times when I watch him play. You have got to be able to go on the outside and the inside.
"You can’t keep coming in on the inside all the time. You come on the pitch, then you have to make a real impact. I know he had a shot, but that’s all I have seen of him so far.
"That’s why he’s not in the team, I am afraid."

Supporters on the Celtic subreddit were a little less subtle with their critique of the 24-year-old.
One Reddit user said: "If you're not on the 'Get Palma to the MLS pronto' train after today then you don't have eyes."
Another said: "This showing (against Dundee United) is exactly why he doesn't play. He's absolutely f***ing sh**e."
While one other added: "I think he’s miles off it for the position he supposedly plays.
"[He] doesn’t have any pace to get past the full-back, cuts back every time, is very predictable. "And unfortunately because he’s getting no game time, he’s trying to hard to score a Worldy, so decision making is a shambles."
