Gerwyn ‘The Iceman’ Price is set to compete at the Bahrain Masters for the third time, as the Welshman looks to win his first title since August 2024.
Gerwyn Price To Compete In Bahrain Masters 2025
The Iceman will compete for the first time since the PDC World Darts Championships, as he enters the the Bahrain Masters for its third edition.
Price was eliminated by Chris Dobey in the quarter finals of the World Darts Championship and will be hoping to improve on his display in that match.
Since its debut in 2023, the Bahrain Masters has welcomed some of the elite players from the PDC – with Michael Smith and Luke Littler winning the previous two in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
Littler is the favourite on UK betting sites after his monumental triumph at the World Darts Championship – beating Michael van Gerwen in the final to clinch his first World Title.
The Bahrain Masters will begin on January 16th before coming to an end on the following day and takes place in the Middle East.
Players are selected from the PDC and from across Asia, with eight players being selected from each side to create a 16-player tournament.

The world number nine goes into the competition having reached the quarter-finals at the recent world championships, and having secured his place in this year’s Premier League Darts.
The winner in Bahrain will receive £20,000, however, as the tournament is under the World Series of Darts organisation it will not go towards the PDC Order of Merit.
