Former Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has emerged as a new leading candidate for the Leeds United head coach role. The German was sacked by Borussia Monchengladbach last week, and the odds on him taking over at Elland Road have been cut from 40/1 to just 15/8 in places.
Carlos Corberan remains one of the bookmakers favourites for the job, with the West Bromwich Albion manager at around 3/1 alongside Farke. The former Huddersfield boss only took charge at the Hawthorns earlier this season, but could be tempted by a return to Elland Road.
Corberan worked at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa and guided Huddersfield to the play-offs back in 2021/22.

Former Rangers and Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is priced at around 4/1, with Leicester City also thought to be keen on the Liverpool legend. Ironically, ex-Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is also high on the Leeds odds list, although he has been linked with a return to Celtic this summer, following Ange Postecoglou's switch to Tottenham.
The club say an announcement on the club's next head coach will be made 'in the coming weeks'. This comes amid the uncertainty over the future of the club's ownership, with Andrea Radrizzani currently remaining the majority shareholder, despite his deal for Italian side Sampdoria and his ongoing discussions with 49ers Enterprises over a takeover at Leeds United.
