Barcelona legend Gerard Pique has suffered further humiliation in his bitter split with former partner Shakira after a close friend appeared to side with the superstar singer.
Pique and Shakira were together for nine years before an explosive break-up last June. That break-up has continued to crate headlines even seven months later, with Shakira releasing a song in which she took several shots at Pique.
Entitled " BZRP Music Sessions Vol 53 ", the diss track saw Shakira take swipes at Pique and his new partner Clara Chia. The song quickly went viral, wracking up more than 50 million streams on Spotify.
Now the song has led to even more humiliation for Pique, with close friend Ibai Llanos sharing a video of himself singing it. The popular Spanish streamer is on holiday in Mexico and posted a video showing he knows all the lyrics to Shakira's new hit.
The post was captioned "Long live the nights of beautiful Mexico" and has led to questions about Llanos' motivation. The streamer is known as a good friend of Pique's and is also part of the King's League, a new competition founded by the former World Cup winner.
The lyrics to Shakira's new song see her take shots at Chia's age and Pique for his decisions over the past year. They included: "I'm worth two 22's. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded a Rolex for a Casio... A lot of gyms, but work your brain a little bit too.

“A she-wolf like me isn’t for rookies. I was out of your league, which is why you’re with someone just like you. You left me with my mother-in-law as a neighbour, with the press at my door and a debt to the taxman."
On top of his friend adding that humiliation, Pique was also booed at a Twitch awards ceremony on Wednesday. Footage showed a clip of the former defender as a crowd at the Esland Awards 2023 booed.
Shakira is expected to release another diss track aimed at Pique in the coming weeks. The former Barca star did hit back at the Colombian last month, signing Casio as a sponsor for Kings League and turning up to an event in a Twingo.
Announcing the deal he said: "We have an agreement with Casio. I'm serious... we have reached an agreement with Casio for the Kings [League], yes, because we have many countdowns... this watch is for life, I'm telling you!"
Pique surprisingly decided to retire from his playing career just before LaLiga started its break for the World Cup, with his last game coming at the start of November. As well as being the founder of Kings League, he also owns Spanish second division club FC Andorra.
