Notts County midfielder Geraldo Bajrami is not surprised at the impact Macaulay Langstaff has made following his arrival at Meadow Lane having played against him for Kidderminster Harriers last season.
The Magpies have dipped into the National League North for much of their transfer business this window, with Cedwyn Scott and Langstaff joining from promotion winners Gateshead while Bajrami was joined by fellow midfielder Sam Austin from the Harriers this summer.
While all the signings have settled in well at Luke Williams' side, Bajrami had no doubts about Langstaff's capabilities in the National League with 32 goals scored for Mike Williamson's side last campaign, four of which came against Kidderminster.

"I already knew what he was bringing to the table, I saw that for myself last season," explained Bajrami.
"He scored a few goals against us last season, and we kind of followed them because they set the standard so high in their league and him and Cedwyn (Scott) are very good.
"And with Macaulay, he has scored six in six, so I am not surprised and long may it continue because it is going to help him and the squad."
Bajrami made his first league start in Notts' 1-1 draw to Gateshead last month, playing at centre-back to replace Aden Baldwin who had picked up an Achilles injury in the previous game against Boreham Wood.
And while the 22-year-old looked solid and composed, he returned to the bench for the following game with his next appearance coming against Halifax Town last Saturday in a different midfield role.
His display against Solihull Moors had everything, with Williams calling him a beast during his post-match interview after an almost complete performance against a potential play-off rival.
Speaking ahead of their game with Dagenham and Redbridge, Bajrami revealed he prefers to play a little bit further forward but insisted he will play anywhere his manager needs him to.
"I prefer midfield, there is a little bit more freedom as I like going forward a little bit more," said Bajrami.
"I don't mind doing the dirty side of the game, but when I initially started off in academy football I was a midfielder and then got dropped back into centre half and it has kind of stuck since then.
"But obviously last season at Kidderminster I played in that position when needs be, but I thought I did well in that midfield position, and think the games I have come on there this season I think I have done well there again, so I am just ready for wherever the gaffer needs me to play."
With six points from two games over the Bank Holiday weekend, the Magpies will be brimming with confidence when they travel to the Chigwell Construction Stadium this weekend but Bajrami has insisted that despite their confidence it will be a difficult test against Daryl McMahon's side.
"Yeah we are full of confidence, but we are going to go to every team knowing we need to get the three points, but there is no easy team to play against in this league, all the teams are difficult in their own way, everyone is playing different styles, different players," Bajrami added.
"We have just got to make sure that we go into the game doing what we do best and perform."
