No. 1 Georgia is missing several key players versus Georgia Tech.
Starting wideout Ladd McConkey was already listed as out due to an ankle injury before we learned that star tight end Brock Bowers (ankle), wide receiver Rara Thomas (foot) and starting right guard Tate Ratledge (knee) will also miss tonight’s matchup.
Per the ESPN sideline report from Molly McGrath, Bowers participated in warmups and moved around well before not returning to the field after going into the locker room with the team.
Kirby Smart told McGrath that Bowers, who has played in the last two games, has been held out due to soreness in his surgically repaired ankle injury suffered in Week 7.
The Bulldogs are showing caution on the injury front with an SEC Championship matchup versus No. 8 Alabama slated for next week.
