No. 1 Georgia (12-0) will take on No. 14 LSU (9-3) in the SEC Championship on Saturday inn Atlanta.
The Bulldogs are dealing with several key injuries ahead of the game.
Here is an updated Georgia injury report ahead of the SEC Championship:
WR AD Mitchell
Injury: Ankle
Status: Probable
Mitchell sustained an ankle injury Week 2 against Samford and missed every game, save brief action versus Auburn, until seeing the field last week for one play versus Georgia Tech.
Kirby Smart told reporters after practice on Tuesday that Mitchell has been able to take some reps in practice.
OG Tate Ratledge
Injury: Shoulder
Status: Probable
Although Ratledge hasn’t missed practice time, the junior has battled a shoulder injury since Week 12 that kept him out of the matchup at Kentucky and limited his snaps versus Georgia Tech.
DL Zion Logue
Injury: Undisclosed
Status: Probable
The junior defensive lineman suffered an undisclosed injury against Georgia Tech and missed the remainder of the game.
Kirby Smart after Tuesday’s practice: “Zion’s good. Zion had that same injury from the Kentucky game, but I think Zion’s going to be fine.”
Edge Marvin Jones Jr.
Injury: Ankle
Status: Questionable
The true freshman suffered an ankle injury versus Georgia Tech and missed the remainder of the game.
Kirby Smart after Tuesday’s practice: “Marvin’s got an ankle sprain, not sure the severity.”
Edge Nolan Smith
Injury: Pectoral
Status: OUT
The star linebacker suffered a torn pectoral muscle versus Florida and will miss the remainder of the season.
DB Dan Jackson
Injury: Foot fracture
Status: Out
Jackson suffered a hairline foot fracture midseason that required surgery and will be out indefinitely.
