The Georgia Bulldogs have added a commitment from elite transfer wide receiver Zachariah Branch. Branch, who played the 2023 and 2024 college football seasons with the USC Trojans, is one of the most explosive athletes in the country.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound wide receiver is excellent at returning punts and kickoffs. Branch is extremely shifty and is elusive after the catch.
The rising junior has two seasons of eligibility remaining. In 2024, Branch recorded 47 receptions for 503 yards and one touchdown. Branch was USC’s third-leading receiver. He also added two carries for 17 rushing yards, 13 punt returns for 74 yards and five kickoff returns for 105 yards.
Branch was much more productive as a freshman in the punt return game (16 returns for 332 yards and a touchdown) and kickoff return game (24 returns for 442 yards and a touchdown). Branch is a former five-star recruit and should be one of Georgia’s top receivers in 2025.
Branch has some very impressive highlights and a high ceiling. Georgia will hope to get even more production out of Branch next season.
