Georgia Bulldogs cornerback A.J. Harris is one of the top players in the NCAA transfer portal. Now, 247Sports predicts A.J. Harris will commit to the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Harris, a freshman, is the No. 8 player in the transfer portal and No. 2 cornerback according to 247Sports. Only one Georgia Bulldog is ranked higher than Harris in the transfer portal.
Penn State is losing star cornerback Kalen King to the 2024 NFL draft, so the Nittany Lions are looking to replace him. Georgia cornerback flashed game-changing potential as a true freshman.
Harris is a former five-star recruit. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back started the season strongly for the Bulldogs, but did not play as much down the stretch. Harris played in seven games as a true freshman and recorded eight total tackles. He has the talent to compete for a starting role anywhere in the country.
Penn State’s defense was elite in 2023, but its offense was painful to watch. The Nittany Lions are almost always among the top contenders in the Big Ten.
