Georgia Tech’s Radio Call of Wild Game-Winning TD vs. Miami is the Best

Georgia Tech secured the wildest win of the college football season thus far on Saturday night, stunning No. 17 Miami with a comeback in the final seconds that never should have happened.

The Hurricanes had possession and a 20-17 lead with 30 seconds to play, but called a run rather than kneeling to end the game. The Yellow Jackets forced and recovered a fumble, and subsequently marched down the field for the game-winning score.

Quarterback Haynes King connected with wide receiver Christian Leary with just one second left on the clock, and Georgia Tech took a 23-20 lead to shock the world.

It's possible no one watching the game was more shocked than play-by-play announcer Andy Demetra, who was calling the game for Georgia Tech. You can hear his voice crack as screams of elation came through on the radio broadcast.

"What did we just witness?" the Demetra asked, dumbfounded. "I see it and I still don't believe it!"

You won't hear better audio today.

With the win, the Yellow Jackets move to 3-3 on the season. Georgia Tech has a week off next week before returning home to host Boston College.
