Georgia Bulldogs star tight end Brock Bowers is not participating in the 2024 NFL combine work outs. Bowers, who has interviewed with the media and talked with NFL teams during the combine, is still recovering from an ankle injury he aggravated in the SEC championship against Alabama.
It would have been interesting to see how Bowers tested at the combine, but there’s no reason for him to risk tanking his NFL draft stock if he is not fully healthy.
Bowers will have a chance to work out at Georgia’s pro day on March 13. Similarly to Bowers, Georgia cornerback Kamari Lassiter did not run the 40-yard dash. It is common for players skip certain drills at the combine if they will hurt their draft stock or if they aren’t completely healthy.
The star Georgia tight end did receive measurements at the combine:

Brock Bowers is still projected to be the the top tight end in the 2024 NFL draft. Bowers is a lock to be a first-round pick.
