For the second year in a row, Georgia unveiled its newly minted national championship rings to the public on Tuesday. And this time, the design included a subtle reminder for their title game opponents of how the game unfolded.
Of course, there was nothing subtle about the Bulldogs’ 65–7 victory over TCU on Jan. 9, a game that stands as the largest blowout in national championship game history.
Georgia outgained the Horned Frogs 589 to 188, ending the game by scoring 55 unanswered points. The intricate design of the school’s latest piece of bling features a nod to the margin of victory, with 58 yards of the field visible on the side of the ring to signify the margin of victory.

The Bulldogs have transformed into the sport’s latest modern dynasty under head coach Kirby Smart, who has amassed quite an impressive trophy case during his seven-year tenure. Georgia will look to go for the three-peat next season—though it will be difficult to find new creativity in the jewelry department after these beauties made their debut.
