Georgia romps, repeats as national champions

Uga-ly. For TCU, that is.

Georgia blasted TCU out of SoFi Stadium on Monday night, 65-7, to repeat as national champions.

This could have been declared a no-contest at halftime. It was that one-sided.

Georgia led 10-7 at one point and then scored 55 straight points.

It didn’t matter whether it was the starters or reserves for the Dawgs. TCU had no answers.

Stetson Bennett threw for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns. He rushed for 39 yards and a pair of scores.

He left the game early in the fourth quarter.

It mattered not as the Dawgs added more scores.

TCU came into the contest at 13-0 but never had a chance in this one.

Kirby Smart had Georgia razor-sharp and it left the Horned Frogs battered and tattered.
