A Georgia man was upset after he ordered a drill on a Chinese site and received a picture in place of the item.
Savannah resident Sylvester Franklin bought a drill and a pressure washer from AliExpress, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, or "the Amazon of China." He didn't receive either item, according to WTOC.
Instead of the drill, Franklin was sent a picture of the drill he ordered. And, instead of a pressure washer, he was given a screw bit.
"This is not good. This is real bad. All this is bad, you know what I mean?" Franklin told WTOC. "Don't scam anybody. I don't like to get scammed because if you spend your money, you want to get what you paid for."
In total, Franklin lost about $40, but he's more concerned with raising awareness to prevent others from falling for the scam and losing their money.
