There was no question regarding the top three spots in the CFP Rankings this week. The question — and it wasn’t a difficult one — was who would be No. 4?
Georgia, Michigan, and TCU remain undefeated and are Nos. 1, 2, and 3 in the rankings released Tuesday.
The No. 4 slot belongs to one-loss USC of the Pac-12.
All four will be in action this week in their respective conference championship games.
Georgia and Michigan are huge favorites over LSU (SEC) and Purdue (Big Ten) in those conference championships.
TCU will have a tussle with a Kansas State team it had to rally to defeat in the regular season in Big 12 play.
USC, meanwhile, gets a chance to avenge its lone loss. The Trojans will face the University of Utah.
The first meeting saw the Utes escape with a 43-42 victory in a thriller.
Ohio State and Alabama round out he top 6.
