The national championship is over and it is time to look toward the 2025 college football season. The Georgia Bulldogs lost an immense amount of talent to the 2025 NFL draft and transfer portal this offseason, but the Bulldogs will still be contenders to win the SEC.
Georgia is expected to start quarterback Gunner Stockton in 2025. The Bulldogs will have an open competition at quarterback (and every position) this spring. Georgia notably lost a ton of experience along the offensive line and in the defensive front seven this offseason.
We consider 2025 to be a bit of a rebuilding year for Georgia. However, the Bulldogs have the talent to win the SEC again and make a run in the College Football Playoff.
The Bulldogs have another challenging schedule in 2025, but at least the Dawgs have most of their toughest games at home. UGA hosts Ole Miss, Alabama and Texas in 2025. The Bulldogs have one of their best home schedules in recent memory despite playing a trio of non-Power Four opponents in nonconference play.
