Georgia football offers 5-star Houston QB commit

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to five-star quarterback recruit Keisean Henderson. Henderson has been committed to the Houston Cougars since May 2024.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback prospect plays football for Legacy the School of Sport Sciences in Spring, Texas. Henderson is a dual-threat quarterback capable of playing defensive back or wide receiver.

The Houston commit was named as the MVP of the Navy All-American Bowl and drew national attention for his standout performance. Henderson is ranked as the No. 1 athlete in the class of 2026, per 247Sports. The elite quarterback is the No. 15 recruit in the nation and the No. 1 prospect in Texas.

Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is a key recruiter for Henderson, who completed a 91-yard touchdown pass in the Navy All-American Bowl.

UGA has four commitments in the class of 2026 and the 14th-ranked recruiting class in the country. Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have no quarterback commitments in the class of 2026. There’s still a long way to go in the 2026 cycle, but Georgia has heavily pursued five-star quarterback recruit Jared Curtis.
