Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Julian Humphrey is returning for the 2024 season. Humphrey, a redshirt freshman, played in nine games for the Bulldogs in 2023.
The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back had a breakout game against the Missouri Tigers in 2023. Julian Humphrey, who was excellent speed, announced his intentions to return via social media (strong language used in post).
Humphrey suffered a shoulder injury against the Ole Miss Rebels on Nov. 11 and has not returned since. Humphrey missed the Orange Bowl, but should be able to return in time for the 2024 season.
Julian Humphrey is arguably Georgia’s top returning cover cornerback. He recorded 11 tackles and two pass deflections in 2023. Humphrey and Daylen Everette are projected (way-too-early) to start at cornerback for Georgia in 2024. The Bulldogs are also returning cornerback Daniel Harris.
